In this edition of our newsletter we would like to share more valuable information of black men and women in history.
Campbell C. Johnson- was born in Washington, D.C. February 22, 1921. After graduating from high school he spent his first year of college at Howard University studying Civil Engineering. In 1942 Mr. Johnson transferred to an all white prestigious Rensselaer Polytechnic Institution, where he received a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering. He then became a Quality Engineer in the Army Signal Corps. While in the Signal Corps Mr. Johnson manufactured tools and instruments. Such as electronic switches, power supplies, test jigs, signal generators, and amplifiers. Today Mr. Johnson serves as Chairman of Expert Examiners in Quality Engineering for the state of California.
